"It is in color that moving forms appear. In 2006/7, I had an idea of painting in color and contrasts. With emerging forms of circular dynamic rhythms, this technique fuses a perception of smooth color gradients without ever invading the space. The result is a desire to touch the canvas, to ply the sub-layers in order to bring out some deeper detail."

Ghislaine Gay was born on December 04, 1951 in Lyon, France. A self-taught painter, she was trained at the School of Jewelry and has dedicated herself to modern, contemporary art themes for the past 20 years.

She is expressing her artistic vision through color where modern art is her inspiration. Her style is vibrant, spacious, organic and very personal.
